During an interview with Howard Stern on Monday, Sofia Vergara spoke out about her ex-fiancé Nick Loeb’s controversial New York Times Op-Ed published last week in which he made his case for custody of the former couple’s frozen embryos. Vergara’s take on Loeb’s desperate campaign: He has no case. A child “needs a loving relationship of parents that get along, that don’t hate each other,” the Modern Family star told Stern. “I wouldn’t imagine anyone saying that it’s sane to bring [into] the world kids that are already set up [with] everything wrong for them,” she continued, adding, “It would be so selfish.” And if none of those reasons are sufficient to put the issue to rest, she also pointed out the binding contract the two signed that Loeb would breach if he were to move forward with taking custody of the embryos.
