America’s top paid female business executive in 2014, according to the Bloomberg Pay Index, was Angela Ahrendts of Apple. She pulled in a cool $82.6 mil, which sounds like a lot until you compare it to what to what the top-paid male exec raked in. That would be GoPro CEO Nicholas Woodman whose $284 million haul mostly consisted of company stock. Ahrendts, 54, is Apple’s senior VP of retail and online stores was actually paid more than her boss, Apple CEO Tim Cook, who nabbed $65 million in compensation last year. Some other top-paid female execs in 2014 were co-CEO of Oracle Safra Catz, who earned $71.2 million and Yahoo CEO Marissa Meyer who banked $59.1 million.
