Baltimore’s state’s attorney Marilyn Mosby announced that prosecutors had probable cause to file charges of homicide, manslaughter and misconduct against police officers for the death of Freddie Gray. A 25-year-old black man, Gray died after sustaining a spinal cord injury while in police custody. The incident sparked multiple days of rioting and demonstrations in Baltimore. According to NBC News, the 35-year-old Mosby comes from a long line of police officers and hasn’t backed down from holding cops accountable in the past.
