Not long after Sony Pictures announced that it would be creating an all-female remake of Ghostbusters, the studio appears to be planning for a woman-driven version of 21 Jumpstreet. Lucia Aniello and Paul W. Downs, both writers for Comedy Central’s (hilarious) Broad City, have been hired to pen a spinoff of the film that spawned the sublime bromance between Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum. Based on its predecessors, it’s safe to assume that the new movie will be centered on two inept cops who go undercover at an educational institution. Here’s hoping the film will also include some sort of Drake-inspired dance party.
