A Chicago woman who recognized her own 15-year-old son in surveillance photos released by authorities has turned him in to police. Authorities said her son attacked, sexually assaulted and robbed a 41-year-old woman in broad daylight last week while riding on a Chicago train. He reportedly stole $2,000 from the victim who reportedly suffered a concussion and lacerations all over her body from the brutal attack. Surveillance cameras captured the suspect from several different angles. After the suspect’s mother turned him in, police say he confessed to the crime. The boy has been charged as an adult with sexual assault and robbery.
