French extremist kills woman, accidentally shoots self on way to bungled terror attack

A terrorist attack on Paris churchgoers was thwarted on Sunday after the gunman accidentally shot himself, but sadly not before he murdered a young woman. The Islamic extremist in question, a 24-year-old computer science student, called for an ambulance after shooting himself. Authorities found a trail of blood leading to a car that contained loaded guns and plans for opening fire on one or two churches. The gunman has been linked to the death of 32-year-old Aurelie Chatelain, whose body was found in her car on Sunday morning. She appears to have been killed at random.
