Sarah Palin’s charm made Louis C.K. apologize for insulting Tweets

In an interview with Howard Stern on Wednesday, comedian Louis C.K. revealed that he apologized to Sarah Palin for his infamous 2010 Twitter rant. In a series of nasty Tweets, C.K. attacked the former governor of Alaska with what he felt was “comedic poetry.” But he confronted his guilt five years later when Palin approached him at the SNL 40 after-party. With her famous all-American charisma, she said, “Hey, I think you’re terrific.” Her compliments made C.K. feel remorse for his cruel words. “Something came over me emotionally, and I said ‘well, I owe you an apology. I’ve never in a million years apologized for anything I’ve said. F— anyone else who is offended,” C.K. told Stern. Palin jokingly called him “vile” and then graciously invited him to go fishing with her if he ever visited Alaska. Would he go fishing with her? “In a heartbeat,” he said.
