Rand Paul’s first week as a presidential candidate didn’t go as smoothly as it could have. He ended up shouting down two news reporters in a matter of a couple of days. So, now that Hillary Clinton is officially in the race, the senator is slinging mud at her instead of journalists — at least for now. Paul deserves a little bit of credit, though, because his mudslinging is moderately clever. On his campaign website, amid the Rand Paul beer koozie’s and t-shirts, Paul is peddling “Hillary’s Hard Drive” among other Hillary Clinton merchandise. Buyer’s can also snag a “Hindsight Eye Chart” for $20.16 and “Liberty Not Hillary” bumper stickers and t-shirts for $15.00 and $20.00, respectively. The sales copy that accompanies the hard drive states, “Buyer beware, this product has had heavy use and it currently is no longer working, but that doesn’t mean it’s not valuable to someone.” The sticker price on the hard drive is a whopping $99.95. Not sure that item is going to be flying off the shelves.
