Amy Schumer says there are no barriers for women in comedy

The actress and comedian appeared at SXSW this week to promote her upcoming movie Trainwreck. While there, she gave a candid interview at a panel during which she touched on a host of hot-button issues. When asked about Jerry Seinfeld’s recent comment that there are no barriers to women entering the comedy world, she said she agreed. “I think if you’re funny, you’re funny, and people seek it out.” Schumer also went on to explain why she’s not afraid of the word “feminism” and gave an all-around ballsy interview that illustrated how she’s really not afraid of anything.
